BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND: THE PAUL PENDERS NEWSLETTER
After a short hiatus, the Paul Penders newsletter is back! In early 2009, we discontinued the newsletter in favor of the Paul Penders Blog - but we found that many readers missed the monthly updates on company happenings, industry news and organic matters.
So the newsletter has been re-launched with a fresh new design that matches the new Paul Penders website and packaging. Beginning in August, subscribers will receive monthly issues via email that discuss the latest topics of the day.
Anyone who wishes to unsubscribe may do so by following the simple instructions at the bottom of each newsletter.
For even more company and industry news, the Paul Penders Blog continues to be expanded daily. Maintained by the company and featuring regular guest journalists, the Blog also offers readers the opportunity to participate in discussions by leaving comments. We invite all of our global readers to become involved and join the community

PAUL PENDERS IS GROWING
Although the global economic slowdown has affected many businesses, http://www.paulpenders.comPaul Penders continues to work hard to carry the message of the benefits of natural skincare around the world.
We now have distributors in some 15 countries with more countries coming aboard soon. New distributors are up and running in Sweden, New Zealand, Romania, Denmark and Singapore. We are talking with interested parties in Myanmar, Poland, Norway and The Netherlands. We also may take a booth at the natural health show in Dubai, which could open opportunities in the Middle East.
In late July, we hosted two visitors from Perth, Australia who came to Langkawi UNESCO Geopark to discuss how Paul Penders products can be sold again "Down Under". Of course, it will not be easy, because Australia has already several wonderful organic cosmetics lines. Paul Penders products were sold in Sydney and Melbourne some 15 years ago. But because they were shipped all the way from California at that time, huge shipping costs combined with high import taxes and a strong U.S. dollar, making it difficult for them to compete with local Australian brands. Today these huge import taxes are being removed; the exchange rate is more favorable and the products are now freshly shipped from a nearby warehouse, making conditions much better. We look forward to a fresh start in Australia!
In addition to new global distribution, Paul Penders is also expanding its product lines. Our R&D department is busier than ever developing new product ideas, and we just launched the new natural color cosmetics all with certified organic colors.
The economy may be slower, but people around the world are more interested than ever in high quality, all natural products for their face and body.

This is for people of all countries and everyone can win! This book is being promoted in America at major health fairs and on popular television programs. By participating, you can show your support for the rainforests and the important work being conducted by Dr. Bodeker.

STUDY FINDS ORGANIC FOOD NO HEALTHIER
Organic food has no nutritional or http://www.paulpenders.com health benefits over ordinary food, according to a major study published recently in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition.
Researchers from the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine said consumers were paying higher prices for organic food because of its perceived health benefits, creating a global organic market worth an estimated $48 billion in 2007. However, a review of 162 scientific papers published over the last 50 years found there was no significant difference.
"A small number of differences in nutrient content were found to exist between organically and conventionally produced foodstuffs, but these are unlikely to be of any public health relevance", said Alan Dangour, one of the report's authors. "Our review indicates that there is currently no evidence to support the selection of organically over conventionally produced foods on the basis of nutritional superiority".
Sales of organic food have fallen in some markets, including Britain, as recession has led consumers to cut back on purchases.
The Soil Association said in April that growth in sales of organic products in Britain slowed to just 1.7% in 2008, well below the average annual growth rate of 26% over the last decade.
Paul Penders remains loyal to using organic ingredients because these are cleaner and not affected by pesticides. Therefore, they are always better for the skin.
