The shelf life of cosmetics depends on the period after opening and the expiration date.
Check this logo on the packaging. The product should be used within a certain time
after opening the container, because of oxidation and microbiological factors. The
number on the box is the number of months of shelf-life after opening. If it says 12
months then use it within 12 months of opening. For some products, a shorter shelf-
life is appropriate, for example, Mascara, which is 6 months. After this time, the
product starts to lose its freshness

undergo various biochemical changes over time, and this is particularly the case with
natural and organic cosmetics.
Before you buy:
Do not buy cosmetics from display windows exposed to the sun. The packaging
heats up which accelerates aging; color may fade and lose its intensity.
