What we need: We all desire beautiful skin, without the blemishes, but often we hardly put in the extra effort. In our day-to-day life filled with to-do-lists, who has the time to visit the salon and pamper your skin, right? Most of us don’t even take out 20 minutes from our routine to cleanse our skin, let alone intensive skincare. But what we don’t realize is that most skin-types need a regular face clean up for that healthy, radiant look. Note: It’s time to take care of your skin by acing the basics. After all, your face is what gives you away when you are excited, happy or stressed. Our skin needs to be taken care of on a regular basis. Even if you visit a salon or call an at-home beautician regularly, it doesn’t substitute the daily face cleanup at home regime that you can do. Face clean up at home was never this important now in the corona time because many salons are closed. We bring you a step-by-step guide on how to clean face at home in no time, plus tips to enhance your natural beauty, and keep blemishes at bay
Cleansing
Face cleaning is important to have a bright, glowing skin. Wash your face thoroughly with Paul Penders facial Alpinia & Teatree Cleansing Wash or Paul Penders Rosemary & Calendula Cleansing Milk, and pat the skin dry with a soft towel. Avoid hot water as it dries out the skin.
Steaming
Clean your face at home was never easy. Have you ever thought of taking a steam at home? If not, then try this. Steam for as long as your skin can sustain (approximately 5 minutes) and then gently wipe the face with a facial tissue. This step works wonders for oily skin. Massage your face using an ice cube (in circular motions), thereafter, to tighten the pores and bring back the skin temperature to normal.
Scrubbing
Proceed by applying the face with Paul Penders Active Glow Facial Scrub for a few minutes since it helps eliminate dead skin cells, which make your skin look dull. Scrub your face for 5 minutes, and then leave it on for another 3 minutes or so, before you wash it off.
Toning
Apply Paul Penders Chamomile & Moringa Skin Toner on your face, which helps maintain the pH balance
Moisturizing
Finally, apply a nourishing cream on your face and neck. We recommend Paul Penders Day Moisturizer or Night Cream. Don’t forget to moisturize your face before going to bed. For dry skin use Paul Penders Dry Skin Relief
For best results, follow this routine once a week in the evening, since it allows the skin to breathe and gives you a fresh, revitalized look in the morning
