New
Combination Packages Are Here!
This month, Paul Penders takes the guesswork out
of developing a complete skin care regimen with the
introduction of combination packages specially designed
to address the needs of certain skin types. The packages
provide a complete skin care program from cleansing and
protecting to moisturizing and repairing.
Paul Penders products, like many product lines,
are designed to work harmoniously together. Although
they provide excellent results when used in combination
with other skin care products, the best results are
obtained when the full line is used. Using a Paul
Penders moisturizer with a another company’s cleanser or
toner, for example, will not provide the same results as
using the Paul Penders cleanser, toner and moisturizer
together because each of these products has been
chemically designed to compliment the others.
This is why most aestheticians recommend using a
full product line rather than trying many different
products piecemeal.
The new combination packages are available for
normal to dry skin, dry to oily skin and acne-prone
skin. For more details, please click here. |

Spotlight: Paul Penders Mascara
Many people are familiar with Paul Penders skin
care and body care products. But fewer realize that Paul
Penders also manufactures a line of natural makeup
specially formulated to work with the skin care line.
This is particularly important for products used in the
sensitive eye area, such as mascara.
Unlike other products used on the eyelashes, Paul
Penders mascara does not contain tar, alcohol or
petroleum-based drying agents. Instead, panthenol is
used to thicken lashes. This eliminates dryness and
heaviness.
“My
eyes have become allergic to mascara since I’ve started
wearing contact lenses,” says one mascara user. “My
lashes feel very heavy and droop at the end of the day.
Since I’ve been wearing Paul Penders mascara, though, I
haven’t had this problem. It makes my lashes feel very
light and moisturized.”
Available in black or brown, Paul Penders natural
mascara is also exceptionally gentle and can be used
even by those with allergies.
“My
eyes are very sensitive and mascara makes them red and
itchy after 4 or 5 hours. Paul Penders Mascara didn’t
have this effect - I felt comfortable all day long!”
says another mascara wearer.

Langkawi
Becomes World’s 8th Geopark
Earlier this year, the United Nations
Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization
(UNESCO) named Langkawi Island the world’s
8th Geopark. This makes the Malaysian
island the world’s 8th Geopark, and the only
Geopark surrounded by 99 exotic tropical islands.
Langkawi was awarded Geopark status by an UNESCO
panel of assessors including Professor Zhao Xun of
the Chinese Academy of Geological Sciences,
International Geoscience Programme deputy secretary Dr.
Margarette Patzak, and Dr. Patrick McKeever of Northern
Ireland Geological Survey. The announcement will be
formally issued in June.
Sheltered by the mountains of the Malaysian
peninsula, Langkawi enjoys sunny skies almost year
round. With natural white sand beaches, clear turquoise
waters, lush jungle foliage and craggy mountain peaks,
the island is known for its natural beauty and abundance
of wildlife. For example, more than 200 species of birds
have been recorded on Langkawi, some of which are only
found on the island.
Because of its long isolation from the
mainland, Langkawi has a rich tradition of legends and
myths. One well-known tale tells of fairies bathing in
the cool, healing waters of the seven pools of Telaga
Tujuh. A mountain prince who once lived near the wells
tried to capture one of the fairy maidens, but until
today, they have remained elusive. It is believed that
the unique lime trees and the sintuk, a climbing plant
which has large pods, that grow around the pools were
left behind by the fairies. Many locals continue to
visit the Telaga Tujuh waterfalls to wash their hair and
thereby cleanse themselves of bad
luck. |

Penders Expands in Japan
The popularity of Paul Penders
products continues to grow in Japan, where the line is
sold in fashionable retail stores throughout the
country.
In March of this year, Paul Penders
visited Japan to meet with distributors and customers.
All of the products are well received, he says, but
excitement is particularly strong for the new time
release shampoo.
Paul Penders Time Release Shampoo took over two
years to develop and is currently the only time release
shampoo available in the world. It is designed to first
cleanse the scalp, ensuring a healthy foundation for
beautiful, shiny hair; then form a thick lather to
cleanse the hair itself.
When first applied to the scalp, Paul Penders
Time Release Shampoo gently removes any dandruff and
other debris from the surface of the head. Because the
scalp is not exposed to harsh surfactants that can leech
moisture, it remains nourished and healthy. As more
water is added, this unique formulation “breaks open”,
creating a rich foam specially developed to wash the
hair. After washing, the hair is full and luxurious,
without the fly-away effect created by some other
shampoos.
Hair care is especially important in Japan, where
products are prized for their ability to enhance natural
beauty without harsh ingredients.
